Allwood Stud bred and owned pacers notched winning doubles – all inside 2:00 – at Pinjarra and Bunbury during September.

Allwood Glow, a 5YO gelding out of Arctic Glow, started the ball rolling with a runaway success at Pinjarra in a career-best 1:58.1 over 2185 metres, while the 4YO Allwoods Rocknroll (ex Lilyann Joy) used the sprint lane to post his fourth win on the same program, rating 1:59.9 over 2185m with the last 800 in a stunning 56.8.

At Bunbury 4YO All Over Tan (ex Lady Mulan) and 5YO Life To The Max (ex Just Like Jess 2:00) notched their sixth and fifth successes respectively. All Over Tan, who led throughout, rated 1:59.2 over 2100 metres with the last 800 in 56.6, while Life To The Max came from three deep along the marker pegs to score in a 1:59.3 rate over 2100.

TINTED CLOUD has made a flying start to the new season, siring eight individual winners of nine races including a double at Newcastle with Chloes Cloud and Platinum Penny.

Other TINTED CLOUD winners in September were Bien Hoa (1:57.1, Globe Derby Park), Cloudin Up (1:57.3, Penrith), Hes Our Boy (1:57.7 & 1:59.4, Tamworth), Moonlight Cruiser (1:58.8, Newcastle), Miss Rodriguez (1:59.9, Parkes) and Nice One Jon (Tamworth).

While LOMBO MANDINGO and PARSON’S DEN both chimed in with winners, the former being represented by the smart Mildura winner Brocks Territory, who completed a hat trick, and the latter by the Northam victor Leeseme Lifestyle.
