The Allwood Stud stallions Fly Like An Eagle and Follow The Stars again ranked highly in the end-of-season statistics for two and three-year-olds.
Fly Like An Eagle sired 12 individual two-year-old winners and 29 three-year-old winners, while Follow The Stars had nine two-year-olds and 15 three-year-olds.
Fly Like An Eagle left 10 winners across four different States in December.
They included the Gloucester Park winners Skylord (2YO) and Mister Montblanc (3YO), the three-year-olds Be Home Soon (Northam), Hope (Narrogin) and Smokey’s Shadow (Busselton) and others in Cohlin (Wagin), Girl Just Fly (1:54.6, Wagga), Eagle Commander (Dubbo), The Irish Eagle (Redcliffe) and Mista Eagle (Hobart).
Follow The Stars, who stands at Medowie Lodge near Newcastle, led in 13 individual winners for the month.
He was represented by seven Gloucester Park winners in Fly To Fame and Torrevean Pinky (both 2YO), Bonstar and Cullen Star (both 3YO) and Rip Jackson, Troopingofthecolor and Altair Star (both 4YO).
Other recent winners sired by Follow The Stars have been the two-year-old Imperium (Narrogin), Wheresthetowrope (Bunbury), Elish Star (Pinjarra), Step It Up (Albany), Gladys Gugman (Busselton) and Startup (Maitland, NSW).
Allwood Stud bred no less than 15 individual winners of 16 races in December.
They were Back In Twenty (1:54.6), Kissed By A Rose (1:56), Second Amendment, Mister Montblanc, Wheresthetowrope, Fly To Fame, Cullen Star, Altair Star, Bonstar, Step It Up, Imperium, Gladys Gugman, Troopingofhecolor, Elish Star and in America, Lord Willoughby (1:58.2).
