The brilliant win of the homebred and owned three-year-old Worlds Above in the $35,000 (Listed) Battle Of Bunbury underpinned a busy month for Allwood Stud and its former sire Rock N Roll World.

The colt, who notched his ninth success and lifted his stake earnings to beyond $80,000, was one of six individual winners from Rock N Roll World’s first crop to score in September. Other winners sired by him were Artemis Mission 1:54.7 (Bathurst), Queenie Daisy (Pinjarra), Rox The World (Wagin), La Pierre (Gawler twice) and Caths In Denial (Young).

Fly Like An Eagle, the leading WA stakemoney sire for the current season, left nine individual winners for the month. They included the Gloucester Park winners Me Flash (1:55), Skylord (1:56.7) and Velocipede, the WA provincial winners Miss Knowall, The Wildcard, Zuede, Manea, Heavenly Bliss and the Mildura winner Soar.

Meanwhile, Follow The Stars, who is domiciled at Medowie Lodge, Newcastle (NSW), was represented by a pair of WA provincial winners in Follow The Ark and Regimental Star.

WA’s leading breeders Allwood Stud bred no less than seven winners during September.

The list includes Worlds Above, Bettor Move Along, Queenie Daisy, Joe With The Flow, Follow The Ark, Rox The World and Regimental Star.
