Beaudiene Beach Babe, a 4YO mare imported from New Zealand by Allwood Stud, further underlined her potential when she outstayed her opposition at Pinjarra on October 22.
Having her first start for eight months, the mare was obliged to sit parked for the 2185 metres but proved too strong, scoring by a head.
The mile rate was a career-best 1:59.2.
Allwood Stud bred and raced winners at Kellerberrin in Joe The Smarty (ex Smartest Remark NZ), who posted his first win, and Just Like Art (ex Just Like Gina), who won her second race.
Military Master, a 7YO gelding bred by Allwood Stud out of Mabel Fox, is proving an excellent money-spinner in North America. The gelding won for the seventh time this year in a $44,000 Open at Yonkers in 1:52.2. Military Master, who holds a record of 1:51.2, has now earned more than $190,000 in stakes.
Tennaya, a mare by LOMBO MANDINGO, won at Shepparton in 1:57.8 and Echuca (1:59.5) to boost her wins tally to 14 and her stakes to $75,756. Another recent LOMBO MANDINGO winner was Cheeky Jerula, who notched win No 5 at Young (NSW) in a smart 1:57.4 rating.
TINTED CLOUD was represented by a pair of smart winners in NSW during October. The Maldives hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:55.3 winning for the eleventh time at Menangle, while Cheap Tint posted win No 32 in scoring at Penrith in 1:56.7.
