At Allwood we’re thrilled to be standing Value Sire of the Season, Follow The Stars, at Goulburn Valley Equine, near Shepparton, at the special discounted industry rate of $2,640 (including GST). Victorian based mares bred to Follow The Stars this season will see their foals have the opportunity to race for a $12,000 First Win Bonus so long as their foals are born & branded in Victoria.

Stars has stood toe to toe this 2yo season with the best sires the world can muster. And with yet another new 2yo winner today, Follow The Stride, at Pinjarra, maintains 4th place on the National 2yo Sires Premiership on both overall prizemoney won & average prizemoney per starter (for stallions with 10 or more starters). What a feat to be ahead of the likes of Art Major, American Ideal & Somebeachsomewhere (all fully booked) this far into the extended 2yo season!
The new Vicbred scheme, created in collaboration with Harness Breeders Victoria, gives something for all breeders who court the Stars. Breeders of mares in all other states will see their Vicbred FWB rise from $7,000 to $8,000 should they book their mare to a stallion based in Victoria. This makes breeders to Rock N Roll World as well as Follow The Stars, in other states, eligible for an $8,000 FWB in addition to their home state bonus! There’ll no doubt be more invaders from mares bred in neighbouring NSW, SA & TAS to Victorian based stallions when their progeny makes their racetrack debuts in 2024. The borders will surely be open by then!
Further great news for Victorian breeders who will now see the bonus for Vicbred Platinum eligible foals rise from $7,000 to $9,000! That’s for foals born & branded in Victoria to our other stallions Rock N Roll World (Golden Cross of the 21st Century) & Harness Jewels & Breeders Crown winner, Fly Like An Eagle.
