The Wagin Trotting Club will be conducting a 3YO Series sponsored by Allwood Stud over three race meetings in April culminating with a 3YO $10,000 race on Wagin Cup night on 17 April.

The series will commence on 3rd April with a $7,000 prelude for 3YO NE $3,000+ horses. Preference in field selection will be to Westsired horses and the winner will be an automatic selection for the $10,000 3YO Westbred race at Wagin on 17th April if a final acceptor.

The second $7,000 prelude will be run on 9th April for Westbred 3YO NE $6,000+ RBD. Preference in field selection will be to Westsired horses and the winner will be an automatic selection for the $10,000 3YO Westbred race at Wagin on 17th April if a final acceptor.

On the 17th April there will be a $10,000 Westbred 3YO NE $6,000+ race. Also eligible and 1st preference in the field selection will be to to winners of the preludes at Wagin on 3rd & 9th April. 2nd preference in field selection will be to Westsired horses which started in a prelude. 3rd preference in field selection will be to Westbred horses which started in a prelude.

The winner of the series will receive a stallion service of their choice donated by Race Series sponsor Allwood Stud.

To accommodate the series the Wagin Cup and 2 x $7,000 4YO+ Westbred feature races have been transferred from 3rd April to 17th April.
