Brilliant Fly Like An Eagle filly Wonderful To Fly won four races at Gloucester Park in April by a combined margin of 46 metres!

She put an exclamation on her season with a runaway success in the Group 2 $50,000 APG Gold Bullion Final, scoring by 20 metres in a career-best 1:53.6 rate over 1730 metres with the last 800 in 55 seconds.

It was her fourth win at Group level and her 15th from 25 starts for $270,176 in stakes.

Our resident sire Fly Like An Eagle left nine individual winners for the month including five three-year-olds and three two-year-olds.

Other recent Fly Like An Eagle winners have been the two-year-olds Feeling Empathy, Ready To Fly and Allaglow, the three-year-olds Northern Gaze (1:55.2), who won three races, the Gloucester Park victor Valhalla Miss, Flying Rumour and The Mercenary and The Irish Eagle (1:57.8).

Fly Like An Eagle has sired 31 individual winners and progeny earnings of $430,000 to date this season.

Follow The Stars produced seven winners across three different States during April.

His haul included Our Shooting Star, Nightwatch Star, Star Of The Bay, Just Like A Star, Our Holla Star, Fiord and Krakka Lightning.

Smooth Rye, a mare raced by Allwood Stud Farm, maintained her impressive form at Menangle winning in a new lifetime mark of 1:52.2 on April 2. She has won three of her eight starts at the Sydney headquarters track.

Allwood Stud bred seven individual winners for the month including Valhalla Miss, Allaglow, Our Shooting Star, Just Like A Star, Bettor Move Along, Nightwatch Star and Star Of The Bay.
