Allwood Stud’s resident sire Fly Like An Eagle produced 12 individual winners of 13 races in April.

The list included the two-year-olds Lord Bhutan (Northam) and Manea (Narrogin) and the three-year-olds Ready To Fly (1:58.9, Pinjarra) and Feeling Empathy (Bunbury).

Other recent Fly Like An Eagle winners were Wonderful To Fly (1:57.4) and Thirtythree Tricks (both Gloucester Park), Extraordinary Mary, who scored at Bunbury and Northam, Hilo Louisa (Northam), Love To Fly (Wagin), Pacific Eagle (Central Wheatbelt) and the interstate winners Fear The Eagle (1:55.5, Goulburn), Eagle Art (Dubbo) and Didmeselfamischief (1:59.1, Port Pirie).

Follow The Stars, who stands at Medowie Stud in NSW, had another successful month with seven winners headed up by the Gloucester Park winners Follow My Stride and the three-year-old Starlight Song.

Follow The Stars was also represented by the three-year-old Brodie Boy (Bridgetown), Follow The Dragon, who won twice at Northam in 1:57.9 and 1:58.9, Zhanya (Northam), Follow Rocknroll (Wagin), Rip Jackson (1:57.8, Penrith) and Dancingonstarlight (Maryborough).

Rock N Roll World has jumped into eighth position on the national two-year-old sires’ list with progeny earnings of $108,945. He produced three ‘new’ winners in April in Lil Miss Crocker, a winner in 2:00 at Bathurst, and Rocknroll Train (1:58.2) and Arionrock, who both prevailed at Pinjarra.

Allwood Stud bred and raised no less than 14 individual winners during April.

They included the two-year-olds Arionrock, Rocknroll Train and Lord Bhutan, the three-year-old Brodie Boy, and others in Back In Twenty, a winner in 1:55.5 at Albion Park, Lord Willoughby, who scored in 1:55.4 at Shenandoah Downs, Virginia, USA, Allwood Mach (1:57.1), The Righteous, Allwood Glow, Follow My Stride, Love To Fly, Extraordinary Mary, Follow Rocknroll and Pacific Eagle.
