Allwood Stud, one of WA’s leading breeders, bred four winners on the seven-race card at Williams on February 25.

The quartet were Path Of Gold, Ellucifer and the three-year-old fillies State My Case and World Secret.

Fly Like An Eagle, the leading WA based stallion in 2024, landed a double at Gloucester Park on February 13 with Our Eagle Bay and the three-year-old filly Lenora Jane.

Other Fly Like An Eagle winners in February were Flying Rumour, who won twice at Gloucester Park in 1:55.9 and 1:56.9, the two-year-old filly Diamondsareforever (1:58.3), Raptor Raider, The Wildcard, Koolbardi Navajo, Smokey’s Shadow and Eagle Commander.

The 2023 premier WA sire Follow The Stars left winners in three different States during February.

The list included Resolution, Brodie Boy, Alexandra Thegreat and Dilo Spirit in WA, Stormboy Star and Startup in Victoria and Dashndot (NSW).

Last season’s first crop sire Rock N Roll World led in a ‘new’ three-year-old winner at Albany in Bay Rock Boy. He is represented by 20 winners from 49 starters so far.

Allwood Stud bred 10 individual winners in February including Kissed By A Rose (1:55.9), Our Eagle Bay, Diamondsareforever, Brodie Boy, Alexandra Thegreat and Bay Rock Boy.

All told, Allwood Stud has bred the winners of 1,630 races including 450 at Gloucester Park.
