THE STARS ARRIVE IN VICTORIA

Follow The Stars & Rock N Roll World have arrived safely in Victoria this morning from their trip across the Nullabor. The pair of young guns are set for what is shaping up to be a massive breeding season. They are standing at Goulburn Valley Equine, just out of Shepparton.

The team at Allwood are extremely excited to now be able to offer Vicbred status for their pair of star stallions. In addition, Allwood will be supporting breeders throughout Australia with 20% Breeders Assoc discounts making them outstanding value. In a season that has seen a surge in new market entrants none can boast superior maternal lines than Rock N Roll World. His dam line brings the very same bloodline as the mighty Captaintreacherous and Art Major to breeders at an affordable price.

Many breeders may be yet to check the outstanding siring performance Follow The Stars has put forward this current 2yo season. Of the two major criteria, Follow The Stars has really stood out, currently sitting in 4th position on overall prizemoney won & 3rd position on average prizemoney per starter (for stallions with a minimum of 10 starters). Interestingly trailing him on both tallies are Art Major, Somebeachsomewhere, American Ideal, Rock N Roll Heaven & A Rocknroll Dance.

Not only was Follow The Stars a champion 2yo but he also boasts an outstanding North American maternal line that’s produced many early goers. It’s therefore no surprise that Follow The Stars is passing his precocity on to his progeny. For more details on Follow The Stars pedigree:

In the meantime, we saw the return to racing of our resident W.A. Stallion, Fly Like An Eagle’s promising son, Eagle Commander at Bathurst last Wednesday night. Eagle Commander gave us a glimpse of things to come with some strong performances over the Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival rounding out his first campaign with back to back wins. Sent out favourite for his return to the track for up and coming trainer Nathan Hurst, Eagle Commander did not disappoint his connections leading all the way with Hurst also in the gig.
