Champion Fly Like An Eagle mare Wonderful To Fly sent her stake earnings over the $500,000 mark when she effortlessly won the Free-for-all at Gloucester Park on June 16. A week later she captured the Group 3 $50,000 The Kerry Clarke.

She has won 27 of her 43 lifetime starts for $541,915, of which she has earned $129,770 since January 1.

Fly Like An Eagle, who is based at Allwood Stud Farm, left 13 individual winners in June.

Among his haul were the three-year-olds Skylord (1:56.7), Velocipede (1:59.1) and Flyin To Win, the Gloucester Park victor Cherry On The Cake and others in First Airborne, Me Flash, Hilo Louisa, Eileenmay, Torrevean Amy, Eagle Art, Mista Eagle and Didmeselfamischief.

Follow The Stars, who stands at Medowie Lodge, Newcastle (NSW), enjoyed another solid month with his progeny.

They included the Gloucester Park winners Fly To Fame (twice), Our Star Billing and Half Kidding and others in Shesgothereyes, Stars Of Gold, Startup and the trotter That’s Not My Gait.

Rock R Roll World, the leading first crop sire this season, was represented by the two-year-old winner Ubeen Thundastruck and the $30,000 Westsired Classic placegetters Rox The World, Hot Rockefeller and Stellar Edition.

Allwood Stud bred or raced six winners during June. They were Fly To Fame, Our Star Billing, First Airborne, Stars Of Gold, Ubeen Thundastruck and Ark Of Rock.
