A haul of 15 winners in September has lifted the lifetime tally of winners bred by Allwood Stud, Western Australia’s most successful breeders, to an amazing 1556. The total includes 435 Perth winners.

 

Allwood Stud winners for the month were Our Star Billing and Per Ardua Ad Astra (Gloucester Park), Follow The Music, Valhalla Angel and Path Of Gold (Northam), Alexandra Thegreat, Rellim, Worlds Above, Billie Joe Star, Ellucifer and Imperium (Narrogin), Ubeen Thundastruck (Wagin), Rockability (Kellerberrin), Nightwatch Star (Tamworth) and Beejay’s Star (Mildura).

 

Follow The Stars, whose progeny earnings this year have topped the $1million mark, sired 13 individual winners in September. They included the Gloucester Park winners Our Star Billing, Per Ardua Ad Astra and Thats Not My Gait, Krakka Lightning, Path Of Gold, Follow The Music, Beejay’s Star, Alexandra Thegreat, Rellim, Billie Joe Star, Imperium, Ellucifer and Nightwatch Star.

 

Resident sire Fly Like An Eagle, whose progeny have earned $920,000 to date this year, left eight winners for the month including the three-year-olds Ekara Navajo, Branson and Valhalla Angel, the Gloucester Park winners Cherry On The Cake and Stereophonic, Me Flash (1:55.2), Heavenly Bliss and Eagle Art.

 

Meanwhile, the defunct Rock N Roll World was represented by the two-year-old winners Stellar Edition (Gloucester Park), Ubeen Thundastruck and Worlds Above. The Rocknroll Hanover horse has sired nine juvenile winners from his first crop.
