A record monthly haul of 22 individual winners in December has lifted the overall tally of winners bred by Allwood Stud to 1,611 including 453 Perth metropolitan winners.

The list of Gloucester Park winners bred by the farm included Machnificent (twice), Extraordinary Mary, Military Star, Galaxy Warrior, Ubeen Thundastruck, Flashing Ark, Path Of Gold, Bettor Move Along, Jackie Daniels and Per Ardua Ad Astra.

The Allwood Stud owned stallions Fly Like An Eagle, Follow The Stars and Rock N Roll World were well to the fore with their progeny during the month.

Fly Like An Eagle, who enjoyed a banner year with his stock earning $1.5million, left 13 winners in December headed up by the Group 2 $125,000 WA 4YO Classic winner Wonderful To Fly, the Gloucester Park victors Extraordinary Mary, Flying Rumour, Jackie Daniels and Stereophonic and the three-year-olds Jacky Darling and Feeling Empathy.

Meanwhile, Follow The Stars sired 70 individual winners for the closing season including 18 in December. Among his list of winners last month was Military Star, Galaxy Warrior, Per Ardua Ad Astra and Flashing Ark (all Gloucester Park), Lap Of Honour (Globe Derby Park twice) and the three-year-olds Brodie Boy, Elucifer, Your Grace, Queen Of Stars and Constellationjewel.

The ill-fated Rock N Roll World was the second leading first crop pacing sire in Australia and was the premier sire in the categories of wins, races won and starters.

The Rocknroll Hanover horse was represented by the recent two-year-old winners Ubeen Thundastruck (Gloucester Park and Narrogin) and My Grand Angus (Wagin).
