Follow The Stars to the sires’ forefront

FOLLOW THE STARS has bounded to the forefront as one of WA’s most successful sires in recent months.

His oldest stock are three-year-olds, and this season he has been represented by four individual two-year-old winners and eight three-year-old winners including a smart filly in Star Fromthepalace, who finished runner-up in the Group 2 $50,000 Dainty’s Daughter Classic.

The two-year-old filly Black Jack Baby, who in undefeated in three starts, and the colt Robbie Rocket, a winner of two of his three starts including Gloucester Park, are the pick of his second crop.

The Allwood Stud bred and owned Watch The Stars and Star Of Willoughby have been other two-year-old winners sired by FOLLOW THE STARS this season.

Besides Star Fromthepalace, FOLLOW THE STARS produced recent three-year-old winners in the Allwood Stud bred Stars Of Gold, Stride Like A Star and Shes All Star, Star Corka, who won three races in February, and Follow The Dragon.

FLY LIKE AN EAGLE, the companion sire to FOLLOW THE STARS, left two three-year-old winners from his first NSW crop in The Irish Eagle (1:56.1, Wagga) and Flying Teagan (1:59, Newcastle).

Allwood Stud bred a remarkable eleven individual winners in February.

They included the two-year-olds Magnificent, Watch The Stars and Star Of Willoughby, the Gloucester Park winner Allwoods Treaty, Back In Twenty (1:57.9), Artillery Major, The Righteous, Well And Truly and Morant.
