Allwood Stud doubles up at Albany
A double at Albany on New Year’s Eve with three-year-old Beach Landing and Back To The Beach was the perfect ending for a busy December for Allwood Stud bred and owned pacers.
Beach Landing, who defeated older rivals, has won two races, while Back To The Beach has won five.
Beaudiene Beach Babe, a three-year-old filly imported by Allwood Stud from New Zealand, posted her first win on Australian soil at Pinjarra, rating 2:00.5 over 2185 metres with the last 800 in 56.2.
Our resident stallions TINTED CLOUD and LOMBO MANDINGO were both represented by multiple winners on the eastern seaboard.
TINTED CLOUD left the 1:55.4 Albion Park winner Cheap Tint, as well as Chloes Cloud (Bankstown) and Preferred Lies (Devonport), while LOMBO MANDINGO sired the double Mildura winner Dynamite Dingo and the Shepparton victor Tennaya (her 11th win).
